Helping a buddy identify a heater for his '47. Part number 986132. Are heaters different for different body styles? Anyone have a good clear picture? Thanks. CorvairEd VCCA#47508

Body style has nothing to do with theheater - which was daler installed. There were three heaters in 1947, one under front seat and a Deluxe and Super Deluxe on the fire wall.

986132 is the add-on defroster unit for a 1947-48 986101 heater.

Realized I gave the wrong part number, got it from the owner. Think it should be 986101. I presume he did purchase the correct heater, Thanks again for all replies. CorvairEd VCCA# 47508
