Will a 250 bolt in and use original 235 torque tube clutch and trans.?

Hopefully someone on VCCA Chat will respond. You might want to also ask your question in the Stovebolt forum. Many of their members have done numerous powertrain swaps with Chevy and GMC trucks.

The 250 is based on a completely different block than the 1950 235. A key point is whether the 1950 bell housing matches the mounting pattern on the newer engine.
