Did the truck come with the spare tire and split ring only?
Or was the wheel included?

on my 1930 Canopy Express it is just the rubber tire mounted on the metal split ring in the tire rack under the rear frame.

In 1931 a rim or wheel was supplied with the vehicle. A spare tire was provided by the delivering dealer or other source at extra cost.

On my '28 Canopy Express, I have a spare tire mounted on a rim that is hanging under the rear of the chassis. No extra 'wheel' (meaning felloe, spokes, and hub).
Dean 'Rustoholic' Meltz old and ugly is beautiful!
