I have a 38 coupe and for the last 30 years have been driving it without side view mirrors. I had a panoramic rear view mirror that worked fine for some time. As I have gotten older and less flexible, I have a hard time seeing objects on the side of me. Has anyone installed these King Bee mirrors that the Filling Station sells?? Looks like you have to drill and tap 2 holes in the door post to install these

Has anyone used these and if so, how well do they work ?

Thanks

I've been using a clamp on side mirror. It works well for me.

On my 41 I have mounted clamp on mirrors on the passenger and driver's side. They are small. The driver's side is ok as far as what you can see. The passenger side is near useless as a mirror when driving. Do to the shape of the car you just see the car in it or it is pointed to far out to see the road. I use it to point down near the rear bumper to help when I am parking the car or baking out of the garage.

I tried a few spots until they were the best I could get.

I have found that having an old car is a constant project that is never done. I think that is a good thing. Keeps me learning new things. Having two from different eras is just a form of higher education.
