Hi All, On my `64 Belair are the brake lights associated with the turn signal switch? Even if I bypass the brake light switch & send power directly to the lights they still won't come on?? I was recently working on my turn signal switch but think I got em back together correctly, Thanks for any help.

Yes, the brake light and turn signal in each rear taillight actually use the same filament in the dual filament bulb. The wiring is such that the turn signal function makes that filament flash even if the brake light want to be on.

A wiring diagram for your car is very helpful to troubleshoot electrical problems.
