A week ago I installed a NORS water pump in my 1932, I reused the pulley, and did observe that it went on a bit to easy, but seemed to be ok.
Now after less than a hour running the pulley is loose on the axel.

Are there any tricks to make this work ie some glue for pressfit, or should I just find another pulley?

I had this problem with my '34. Two tacks with a welder solved the problem.

Try Loctite bearing lock. I've held crank pulleys on with it.

In addition to Steelin Time's suggestion I would put several centre puch dimple around the shaft and the inside of the pulley as well as the loctite.

I tried the bearing lock and centre punch dimple, but the shaft is very hard steel, so made big mark in pulley, but not a scratch in the axel.
So I ended up with 2 spot welds.
