Drivers side rear started to sag a little. Has anyone had them re-arched? Specs? Thank you in advance. Also brake pedal sticking won't come all the way back up unless pulled up. Lubricated linkage...

I have read re arched leaf springs won't last. The arch goes flat. There are spring manufacturers in the US,so there is hope.
Have you lubed the service brake equalizer shafts? Also, one more thing. Have you used a penetrant on the bushings of the equalizer? PB Blaster is a good one the can that looks like snake oil.

The links below is for the 1928 spec manual which gives detailed information that could be used to either rearch, make or find a suitable replacement spring:

Thank you for the reply. Unhooked front and rear linkage oiled with PB worked shafts, re-oiled repeated several times. Worked like a champ! Would you know the names of the spring manufacturers?

Eaton Detroit Spring in Michigan is a national source. There are still come local spring companies in larger towns that can fabricate leaf springs from original specifications. Houston Texas used to have three now only one.

You want too look at the angle of the shackles, if the bushings are worn it can sag. You gonna have to replace them when you pull the springs. It may save you a good bit of cash. I did see springs from the filling station very costly. Gary Wallace has the bushings and bolts to replace.
