Fresh Cab rodent repellent. I put pouches of it all around in my Cougar when it's in the garage over winter. Many use it in motor homes also. I'd maybe wrap it in plastic so the bulk of the smell stays in.

Our COOP sells small bags of rodent repellent. They seem to have been effective so far.

Another cheap method that worked for me over the years is to sprinkle Comet cleanser on the floor around the area where the seat will be stored. Seems the little critters don't appreciate getting the stuff up their noses!!
