Hi All,

Looks like I need to put a new head gasket on the 1928 Jitterbug (LP Truck). Unfortunately, the cylinder head bolt tap for this engine is out of stock from The Filling Station. Does anyone know if another, cheaper tap, like the one on this link can be used?1/2" X 12 Tap Or is there specific taper in the block threads that must be considered? Obviously this is a very important procedure. Shout out to Rustoholic (Dean) for all the advice so far!

Thanks

Since I don't use my 1/2-12 tap very much, I can loan it to you and you can mail it back to me when you are done with it.

Send me a PM with your address and it will be on the way.

Cheers, Dean
