If this isn't allowed I understand. Maybe someone here has had the same problem. I have a 07 Classic 2500 HD that has stopped blowing heat on the drivers side, blows cold passenger side has heat. At one point I had to replace the "thing" that controls blower speeds. Yes, thing is a technical term. I pulled the control head but am hesitant to buy a used one on Ebay just to see if that is the problem. I'm thinking wiring to the ??? any help or even point me toward a possible fix. Thanks Mike

A blend door actuator? It's a servo that controls the device that determines the blend of hot and cold air that is delivered to the outlet(s). I had a couple go bad on an 06 Charger I had. When it happens take it to a shop to read the codes. It'll set a code but not light the check engine light. Leave the truck running until the code is read. My Charger would erase the code when I shut off the car until the next time it messed up.

My 04 Silverado will, sometimes, switch to hot air on the drivers side if I drive with the AC set on anything but the coldest setting. If I pull over and shut it off then restart, it works properly for a while. It took me a while to figure out that it doesn't do it if the AC is on the 60 degree (coldest) setting.
It is supposed to be a simple fix, except that the truck has a massive console that must be removed for access.

It’s been a number of years since I replaced an actuator in a pickup but there was one you could get with the glove box out.
