My friend, who is working on a '23 Chevrolet from a customer, is in need for some parts and perhaps someone has and/or know where to find these parts:


- Remy Generator 950-A : End housing or complete Generator

- Remy Starter Motor 700-B : complete unit

- Fan Belt Pulley

You have a 1925 generator.
Vintage and classic reproductions in Australia used to make them.

Gary Wallace has the distributor end frames reproduced, maybe others have them as well. Looks the same but of course you will need to confirm.

The Filling Station may have them too?

The Filling Station has indeed made a reproduction of a Generator end frame (see attached photo).

I will also check if Gary Wallace perhaps has a Fan Belt Pulley and if someone else knows one, please let me know.

. The 23 has the oil pump in front of the cam cover. Pix #1 . The 24 & 25 have oil pump behind the generator. Pix #2 . This would make the distributor to generator plate different.

That is indeed a difference between the 2 years, the End Frame from the '24/'25 can however be used on a '23, but I also send an email to Gary Wallace if he has, among other parts, a correct End Plate for a '23 Generator.
