I have a 1947 Sedan Delivery with rotted out front doors. I am wondering if anyone knows if the front doors are
the same from a Stylemaster 4 door sedan. Any help is greatly appreciated! My 47 also has a 46 grille. Has anyone
run across that before? I wonder if it came like that, or if it was changed.

The front doors are the same as a 4 door. Doors fr\rom 1942=1048 Stylemaster 4 doors are the same EXCEPT on the 1947 will have the correct moulding holes rilled.

Your 1947 was in a wreck at one time and the front clip was replaced with a used 1946 clip. This has come up before. A 1947 grilles wil not fit in a 1946 front blip because the 1946 grille and front gravel deflector are different.

Thanks for the reply Chev Nut! That should make it a little easier to find good doors. The spare tire area is mostly gone, do you know of anyone that makes replacement metal for that?

Doors from Fleetline Sportmaster Sedan will NOT work. They are too narrow.

Thanks for the additional tip! I will measure mine in case I find some loose ones at Carlisle or Hershey.
Thanks again, Tom
