i have a '49 fleetline deluxe fordor. it was originally two tone, blue top and gray bottom. it was repainted biege at some point in time and the jambs were painted black with a brush. i;m trying to go back as close to original as possible and so i need to know if the jambs were originally two tone to match the exterior or were they one color, and if one color then what color would they have been? thanks walt

The door jambs would painted the same as the exterior---gray up to the belt line and blue above that.

if it was two tone from the factory, then the jambs matched the exterior, but if it was painted by the dealer, then they may have taken a short cut and not painted the posts.
