I recently had all FOUR of my truck’s original shocks completely rebuilt by Apple Hydraulics in Calverton NY. While it was not inexpensive, I wanted to share my experience.
Communication both by phone and email was prompt, courteous and professional. I am sure that these original shocks had probably never been serviced in all these years, yet when I received them back, they looked brand new and function very well. Ready to reinstall.
The turnaround was within a two week period. GREAT SERVICE!

Note, they are just shock absorbers and the description KNEE-ACTION is not used.
GM used the word knee-action as a term to promote/describe the front sping individual coil spring suspension from 1934 into the 1950's.

Always good to hear of a good dependable sorce for services on our vehices.
