I have seen on eBay a Town & Country plastic eschutcheon go for a lot of money. Is the same eschutcheon the same for 1939 & 1940? Years ago I was told that 1939 says...City / Country. In my 1940 Accessories brochure they have a picture which shows ......Town / Country. Any thoughts on any differences between 1939 and 1940?
dtm I bought this one with good intentions of installing it on my 40. You know what they say about good intentions.....The road to ........is paved with good intentions.

The 1939 says city and country, the 1940-41 says town and country. The 1940-1941 version merely cuts ot one of the standard equipment horns so the wiring would be differement. The plate is moulded with a slight curve to fit on top of the 1939 dash and the 1940 is flat to fit on the verticle front of the dash.
Is the the unit I sold you at the Springfield Anniversary Meet?....if so I will refund the $35 you paid for it.
Chev Nut: I wish that I had bought one from you in Springfield, however I was not the lucky purchaser. My switch has one wire attached to it.
