I have a restored 1935 radio that I want to list for sale. Although I think it's a 1935 Standard other folks have other opinions. Any help on accurately identifying what I have would be appreciated.
Thanks for the info - it's been restored by Raymond Holland and came with a '33 Standard. I was sure it wasn't for the '33 Standard, so I set it aside. In your opinion would $4-500 be a fair price?
Are both knobs Brown as one looks like it isn't but maybe due to angle or light. 34-35 Standard Radios of this type are very rare. Your price is probably in the ball park if that Radio is the right one. But it always depends on if someone wants it that bad. This is just my opinion, others may disagree. I've ever only seen two 34-35 Standard Radio Heads. Ones' in my 35 Standard, the other I traded to Ray Holland. Most of those cars never had one.
I would think that the asking price could be higher, maybe even double . However it may take a long time to get it. Make sure you mention that it was restored by Ray, tgat is a big plus.
My 1951 1 Ton is now on the road! My 38 Master 4 Door is also now on the road .
Might get that in Canada, not in the US. Believe me, I've sold plenty of them. But like all 30's Chevy stuff, there is getting to be fewer and fewer of them. Last three swap meets I went to there was nothing for Chevies.
