Hello yes I am a new member, I have a 37 master deluxe that I'm putting together and I'm wondering what the heck holds the hood on, I have nothing that connects the grill assembly to the fire wall. Should there be some support rods or something.

There is a V rod and a hinge support. I'll show you pictures of my 38 which are probably not an exact match but should be similar. A member that goes by the handle of rusty37master will probably be along soon and will have the exact scoop.

The OP hasn't been back on site since making the original post. I'll move this to a technical forum.

The hood you have pictured is definitely different from a 37, 38 and 39 are pretty much the same. I had a guy from another forum respond with a picture. Apparently there is a bracket that goes under the hood ornament and hooks into the center hinge chrome peace, I have neither of them so I'm now searching for them.
