This was piggy backed on an unrelated thread so I moved it here until we can determine what the subject is.
Photos would help. I assume you mean the electrock. That runs from the ignition switch to the coil.

I was thinking the armored wire sleeve to the taillight. It has ferrules on each end and a retaining clip on the frame of early 30s Chevys. I assume it is the same for 1938 which I believe is the subject of this thread.

An original GM harness would have flexible conduit on the horn wires and possibly the tail/stop lamp wires. There was a thread, on this subject, here a few days ago. Chev Nut and I responded but I cannot find it.
