Hello,
I’m a new forum member, but have been building/ fabricating for a while.. I recently bought a 1937 master deluxe 4 door that was a 22 year frame off restoration project. The gentleman just couldn’t finish it, so he put it up for sale. So many new parts and the hard work is done.. Just need to assemble the gigantic jigsaw puzzle and of course attend to the details. Hoping to add where I can and learn a few things as well.

Motor was switched out for a fresh rebuilt 1955 235, converted to 12v. Pretty happy about that. Thanks for having me

Welcome to VCCA Chat. I agree with Tiny that VCCA membership will offer many benefits as you compete your project.

I am interested in how the previous owner adapted the 235 to the original 1936 clutch and transmission. Can you share details?

I accidentally typed 1936 (sausage fingers on my phone) it’s a 37.

Thanks for the clarification. While you can put a 235 into a ‘36 it takes a lot of “adapting”. Replacing a 216 with a 235 in a ‘37 is not near as challenging.
