Does anyone know the specs for the speaker above the windshield on a 1955-1959 Chevy truck? Thanks.

The only thing I can find is it was a 5" X 7" speaker.

I need a couple of them. The 5 X 7 speakers I found on eBay were listed as 35 OHM. My radio guy says 8 OMS would be more likely and thought maybe the 35 OHM eBay speakers were actually 3.5 OHM. I checked the close up pictures and it looks like 35 to me. I haven't looked elsewhere. I thought someone here would have access to the specs. Thanks for looking, Gene.

I don’t think there is such an animal. You want 8 ohms.
My 1951 1 Ton is now on the road! My 38 Master 4 Door is also now on the road .

Crutchfield has two or three speakers designed to fit the overhead box and are designed to operate using both front channels. Might be worth looking into.
My '56 came with two speakers in the housing and I'm trying to get them to work!
