I`ve had my share of problems with rebuilding my 1932 head https://vccachat.org/ubbthreads.php/topics/464005/1932-engine-overhaul.html

Here in Denmark it seems to be easier to get earlier heads.
From what I`ve been told, you can cut the 1931 valveseats to use 1932 valves, and get same flow, is this correct or are internal ports different as well?
Besides valve size, what other differences are there between a 1931 and a 1932 head?

The 1932 rocker arms are longer than '29-'31 so the push rods will be against the side of the hole in the head instead of centered in the hole. Otherwise it will work.

Will it then work better with 1931 rocker arms, or will it create other issues?

It will fit better with 1931 rocker arms but you lose a little horsepower (that you probably will not notice).

Thanks for the information, the 1931 head will only be my second choice, but nice to know it`s an option.
