My 39 Master Deluxe does not have the horseshoe clips Chev of the 40s part # 4090144 or 416812
on either door. It appears to have a type of C clip without the curls on the normal horseshoe clip.
Does anyone know what I am looking at? Will part # 3703632C tool work?
Thanks, Tom

I assume you are talking about the clips that keep the door handles and window cranks in place. Your local auto parts store might carry a universal door handle tool that is very inexpensive. It might be worth a try too get the tool locally and try it, rather than the hassle of mail order and possibly having to return it.
Good luck.

I can't imagine someone putting that type of clip on if it's what I'm picturing in my head. They would be almost impossible to get off. You might try the plyer type of tool but those too need to grab on to the out turned ends of the regular clips. Good luck and hopefully someone has a better idea. https://www.carid.com/lisle/windshi...e-clip-pliers-mpn-35200.html?view=093021

Harbor Freight sells a set of dental picks with one being hook shaped. I’ve had success using these to remove stubborn interior door handle clips

I use this with a rag covering the handle so the clip doesn't fly away. The L shaped one. Hope you can see it.
