The question is in the title. Can someone post a picture of an original front muffler hanger assembly for a 1951 car, thanks

There is no front muffler hanger but there is a hanger on the tail pipe about a foot behind the muffler. That and the rear hanger at the back is all there is,

Note that the 1951 hanger system was new for 1951 and used thrugh 1954.
The parts book has a good picture of the 1951-1954 version.

the 1954 parts book shows it. the picturs of exhaust mountins are shown and it is in the center lower picture, My scanner is down so I can not hep but if you go to the old chevy manual site, find the1954 parts book and look for the picture in the exhaust section.

The tail pipe at the end must be oblong shape because an original rear hanger I have will not fit. The drawing shows it flatten too. Is that a seperate piece that attaches to the tial pipe or is pipe flatten on end.
