Can someone please help me. I need some details/drawings of the under floor battery carrier/box for a 1926 Superior K Tourer. Some of the original bits are still there however I would like to restore my car to as close as it was built.

Hi Peter Moody Doesn’t look like anyone has given you any help yet. Here are a couple of shots of a 1925. (If you make any reference to the maintenance on this battery box the pictures will instantly disappear). HA! Any questions you have can be referenced to the pictures. ![[Linked Image from home.attbi.com]](http://home.attbi.com/~chev33radio/BatteryBox2.jpg) What is not obvious from the pictures, is a brace, in the lower right of the second picture, that goes toward the front of the car and is attached to the frame rail.

Thanks Ray. Just one small question, is there a clamp to hold the battery orr dos it rely on its own weight?

Originally they had a hold down. As the batteries we get now are not the exact dimensions of the old batteries, it wouldn't fit anyway. I suggest a piece of wood shaped as a "T" to wedge in by the battery and fill up the space provided.
