Well, after my son died things came to a grinding halt on the "50 Chevy. A thanks to PeterV as well as everyone else to help get my head in the right place. I am starting to work on her again. This last weekend I dropped the gas tank to change the sending unit. The brass float was gone. I cleaned out the tank and re-set all the connections. then replaced the whole sending unit. While the tank was off, the rear shocks were easy to get to. changed them out. I then put the tank back in. When I re-wired her, I put in a voltage reducer to the gas gauge, so I should be ready to go. Going out tomorrow morning to fire her up. Maybe even take Mama for a ride.

Nothing takes the edge off like a Vintage Chevy ride. Hopefully riding in the Chevy brings back all the good times, not the tough ones...

Those accustomed to the finest...find it in Chevrolet.
