I have a 1924 superior Tourer and cannot find out how the front crank pully is removed, I don't want to cause any damage by doing it incorrectly
Looks like it just pulls off . it has a keyway and what looks like a threaded brass bush

My experience pulling balencers/pulleys is 38 and up so this may not translate to your car exactly but it should be very similar. It's a friction fit. A universal puller should work. Be sure to push against the crank snout, not the hand crank lugs. On my 38 a 1/2" drive 9/16" socket in the center balancer hole works to push against. When you get the puller set up and a good strong pull on it, strike the end of the puller shaft with a hammer. The shock of the hammer strike will normally pop the balancer/pulley loose.
This guy uses an impact wrench.

Does the shop manual describe this process?

I managed to remove the crank pully it unscrews anticlockwise
when I replace I will use some thread lock or something similar to hold it in place
