Hello, just joined this forum. I would like to share my 1946 fleetline with you all. I have been building this car myself. I am a mechanic by trade and known as one of the local vintage Car & truck mechanic in my town.

Welcome! Does it still have the original power train? Looks like a solid car.

Welcome and I like your car! It’s nice to hear from someone working on these treasures professionally.

No it doesn’t have the original engine or trans. When I first got the car it had a 350/350 combo in it. I rebuilt the engine and painted it battleship grey like it would of been on a 216, will eventually rebuild the trans. But just been driving her around.

Thank you!! Yes I enjoy working on classic. Grew up on them and collected and inherited a lot of literature over the years

Hi & welcome. I just renewed my lapsed membership today after being idle for 3 years as my 46 style master sport coupe got rear ended then. I kept it for a parts car for future purchase. Just bought a 1951 3100 pickup this week & lots of the mechanical will interchange. Will post a photo of both when I figure how to. Both are real nice.
