Can anyone explain why when I type in The Filling Station, or NCA 49-54, or Jim Carter Truck Parts to search for information, the very first listing is Chevs of the 40's???

Money!

Which search engine are you using? For example, Google has a fee structure for advertisers to increase their position in search responses. There is logic associated with Google Chrome that quickly analyzes your search.

For example, when you type in “The Filling Station” Chrome works in the background to quickly determine that you are interest in vintage Chevy parts. Apparently Chev of the 40’s paid more than The Filling Station.

You will note that those “sponsored results have a label “Advertisement”.

It may have something to do with where you live. When I search for The Filling Station I get hits for bars. It's amazing how many bars named The Filling Station there are.

Once your where you want to be put the address in your favorites and then you don't have t search anymore.... and yes, I have some in there that i never got to but there "just in case". Saves a lot of time.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hubcap than ride in a Ferd.
