That looks very similar to the oil pump in my ‘37. I am not family with the earlier engines.

That is a replacement GEAR TYPE oil pump. Th original pump was the vane type.
After about 1939 Chevrolet sold a replacement gear type oil pump kit fo 1929-1936 engines (not same for all those years) and it was all made of iron. There were after market pumps sold that were made out of aluminum and other wise looked the same as the iron pumps. Some times you will find an aluminum pump the as grazing (developing small cracks).
In 1937 Chevrolt changed to the gear type pump said it delivered a more constant flow of oil and had more capacity.

By the number w-3220 and the picture , I would say that is a aftermarket replacement Wohlert brand.
