Chev Nut: Well, I FINALLY got off my duff and cleaned off the spring covers and, sure 'nuff, there were the greasing holes, just where you said they'd be. Those poor ol' springs haven't seen grease in the 10+ years I've owned the car and probably many years before that. It was kind of a messy job, but WOW!!, what a difference in the ride. That lttle ol' tool turned out to worth it's weight in gold.....well, maybe not gold, but it sure made it easy. Thanks once again for you help. chevy -Bob

Did anybody ever find a response to Project48's question of whether or not anybody is reproducing these covers?

Sorry, but I've never seen reproductions of the spring covers being available.
