Hey everyone, hope y’all are getting out and enjoying the weather where you’re at. Sooo got back from a show today, 44 miles round trip (longest yet) only had one real issue but had a spare under the seat.

Anyways today I noticed that my brakes aren’t what they were when I got the car, didn’t have much then either. It stops but not how it should. In August I’m planning on doing the last few things to it to make it 100% road worthy and that includes redoing everything brake wise. Iv only been able to find one place that sells something close to the material that goes on the brakes. But they only sell to actual business or you need an LLC. Does anyone know of a place that doesn’t require an LLC to get the material??

Thanks Larry.

congrats on the journey and glad you had a spare...

in regards to brake linings, plenty of discussion on that on the VCCA, and several places to acquire it

general search for brake linings under 1929-32 chatter: Brake Lining Search

good discussion on thickens, material, acquisition, etc...
Braking with 1929 stock mechanical brakes.

Copy that and thank you. I searched brake material not lining and found 9 pages of not that. Few other helpful post though. Thank you again!
