Hi I have a Carter W1 carburettor that has 510 stamped in the base, can some one tell me what it is off please Brian

I was unable to locate any info on a (510) number. A photo and any other numbers on the parts might help.

Brian,
It may be a 1939- 1940 maple leaf carburetor. I have just seen a W-1 with the 510 number cast on the fuel bowl. Does yours have the same numbers stamped on the bowl , as well as the mounting flange face.
