Hello, I am searching for either a mobile mechanic, or a shop that would be knowledgeable on 1929-1934 Chevy 194 Stovebolt 6 cylinder motors in the Sacramento area. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated! Thank you Robert

Hi Robert, I suggest that you contact the VCCA region (chapter) that is nearest to you and ask them for a recommendation. Here is a list of all the regions: https://vcca.org/page/RegionsCheers, Dean

If your mechanical problem is not too big you could post it here and I am sure some one can help you sort it out.
There are several VCCA members in the Sacramento area that own and drive early 6 cylinder cars. If you join a local region you could ask to come to their shop and get some guidance as to how to do your repairs, and maintenance. The early cars will always need some tinkering to keep them running and driving reliably. It is just a part of owning one of these bits of history.

Dean, thank you for the information. Art, We have been trying to get this motor to run right for many months. I am afraid we have reached the the point where we need someone physically there that knows these motors.
