Will the seats from a town sedan fit into a 5-passenger coupe? I'm pretty sure that the front seat will but don't know for sure. If that is so it seems the back seat would also. There may be differences that are not so obvious.

I tried to solve this question by myself but it's hard to get and/or understand whats found in the parts manual.

I would appreciate the answer to this question of how much of one body style as mentioned above is different from one to the other as far as the seats are concerned.

I know the seat upholstery material is different from SD to MD but that is not what I need to know.

Thanks,

Charlie computer

The Town Sedan seats are larger and will not fit into a coupe.

Gene,

Seems to me that the front seat would be the same and only the rear be different or larger on the sedan.

What about that?

I've tried to track the 411011 SD town sedan and the 411027 SD coupe but can't get the lingo straight in my head and decipher the information available in the 14.798 seat section of the parts books.

Any further help on this question will be appreciated,

Thanks,

Charlie computer

The club seat is smaller and (less deep) in the club coupe due to the reduced space. The 2 door and 4 door seats are the same size in back except the 4 door lower cushions have rounded corners to allow more room for getting in.
