I have heard of judges taking a magnet with them and checking nuts and bolts to see If they are stainless steel. I wonder If this Is being done at VCCA judging meets. Also, What Is the say as far as the VCCA judging rules on the use of stainless steel nuts and bolts. This has been talked about before, But I have not read or seen anything as what Is In the judging rules. :) :) chevy chevy :) :)

Donald, What is the deal about a Judge with a magnet? Isn't that a 15 yard penalty,
for carrying a magnet around "restored Chevrolets"? No telling what they might find!

There appear to be plenty of "Nuts" around here JYD, but thank goodness not more than one Boltz! But We don't want to be too hard on the Boltz, don't want to bugger up his threads!

Use lead paint on the SS? bigl bigl

Glue little steel plates to the top of the bolts? bigl bigl

Paint them the color of steel? bigl bigl

DON'T worry about it, use what you think is best for you and your car. IMHO laugh
