I have one complete set of sidemound hardware. It was attached to a fender. How many tapered washers (picture attached) should I have for each side.

I have 3, all came off one rod/fender. Seems odd. 2 would make more sense to me.

I guess I should mention I am working on a '31 passenger car. The fender was off a '32 panel truck.

Bump...I am still looking for information. Were these used on all cars with sidemounds?

I have never found tapered washers on side mount fenders in the 50+ years I have messed with 1931-32 Chevys.
