How and where are the fenders on a 1940 Chevy PU supported. I see no indication of any braces on the front fenders and the usual suppliers have two for the rear. One that attaches to the frame rails then to the lower portion of the outside edge of the fender while the other support fastens to the top fender bolt then to the outside edge of the fender.

Pictures and Comments are appreciated…

Thanks,

Mike

Mike,
There is a stout bracket that attaches to the side of the radiator support on each side. It arches out to the outer edge and bolts to the fender just forward of the center of the arch. There should be a two hole tab on your fender. I will send you a picture of the bracket.

Thanks Larry.
I have company and had not gotten around to sending him a photo.
Missed you at the Gas Show.
