Hello!

Recently I bought ´76 Monte Carlo with 350 under hood. It has only one issue - rusted exhaust. Problem is that I can´t find new one. Car is originally equipped with single pipe exhaust and I found maybe one set of duals which could possibly fit.

Is it really impossible to find new single pipe exhaust for this Chevy?

Welcome to Chat! International shipping can be a real challenge. Do you have shops in the Czech Republic that do custom exhaust work? They are very common over here and that's where most people get their systems built here. Even if you can find a pre cut/bent system here the shipping would be very expensive because nearly everything would be oversize. Changing to dual exhaust would not be a problem. It's commonly done.

Yeah, friend of mine also told me to find someone who will manufacture new one for me rather then purchasing new set from US. About changing exhaust system to duals, there is one thing which seems kinda tricky to me - all systems I have seen are headers-back type. But I think that such system is not prepared for attachment to stock exhaust manifold. Some piece would be still missing between pipe and manifold.

There's a flange that attaches the exhaust pipe to the manifold with a gasket (donut) between. That's pretty much standard on all exhaust systems of that era, at least in the US. Here's a short video showing the process.
