I have a 1927 Superior K. That could be a late 1925 in the US or early 1926. the generator is belt driven onthe passengers side, (drivers side in the US), and the horn is mounted on the fire wall. Can someone tell me what the steel panels under the front and back seats were painted wiyh and what colour?

The ones I have seen and the one on my '28 are painted chassis black.

Hi Peter Moody,

Can't let that one lay there. You said: "the generator is belt driven onthe passengers side, (drivers side in the US), and the horn is mounted on the fire wall." The horn, is it mounted 'to' the firewall or 'through' the firewall?

I have never seen a belt driven generator and horn 'through' the firewall combination.

Sorry all, I should have said 1926, Superior K,
and I have tried to distiguish my Tourer with others that I have seen with the generator that appeared to be gear driven together with the distributor over the top and I believe that some horns were mounted over the exhaust

Hi Peter Moody,

Now that makes more sense. Belt driven generator and manifold mounted horn would make for a '26 "V".
