I recently lost the pictures of when I dissembled the "A" posts and windshield. They were stored on my computer when it crashed mad curse microsoft mad curse . (I guess that will teach me to back it up). The old wood also was in such bad shape that it fell apart as soon the sheet metal was removed. Can anyone please tell me or send me pictures of how the wood and support brackets goes together? I believe I know how the support brackets attach but I don't want to drill holes in the new wood and be wrong.

Bill, sorry to hear about the crash, been there, done that, hated it!!. But to answer your queston, get a copy of the Fisher Body Service Manual it has dozens of pictures of the frame and bracket mounting and construction in it. Also there is a nice little book avail from Don Marsh up in Idaho. It is called Tips On Auto Body Woodwork. His Ph# is 208-623-2039 and it has tons of info. Cost is about $10 but well worth the price for the info available inside. Best of luck. chevy chevy
