I am preparing my doors for rebuild and noticed some differences between left and right. The window anti-rattle roller was on the inside of the glass on one and on the outside on the other-which is correct? Also on the lower front bottom corner there is a stud that resembles a grease fitting and has a push nut attached- is that for retaining the lower seal? which my doors do not have. there appears to be the remains of a pinch strip that would have held the seal-what should it have? Any and all help greatly appreciated.

The Bel Air did not have a pinch strip. Theroolers go on the inside out of the weather.

Ok Thanks Gene-Roller inside sure makes it easier to remove/install the glass. Is the door seal just glued on?

A new issue with the doors is rust removal, Lots of surface rust and I would like to clean it up. Looking to see what others have done,
