I am looking for some clarification; I want to know which switch was most correct for the Deluxe/Fresh Air heater in 1948. I use a tan Delco-Remy 2-speed "AIR" switch for the fresh air heater in my 1948 Chevy 1/2 ton truck, 5-window deluxe. My research shows the original switch to be Group #8.852, part #3128267.

I have seen different color switch housings used with the fresh air heater. I happen to see Ark-Les toggle/lever switches used with this heater as well. Note that the toggle/lever is slightly different with that brand of switch. At the end of the day, what switch and color would have paired with the Fresh Air heater when installed in 1948?

Thanks for any insight on this topic.

I remember seeing them in dark brown only. Chevroet sold both brands.
