Chevy Fans; Is there anyone whom may know of some dealers or members that may have fender skirts for a 1953 Chevrolet p/u 3100, 5 window truck. Thanks, Nickels

Don't think I've ever seen skirts on a pickup. Did they use the same skirts as on cars? At any rate you'll probably have better luck putting an ad in the parts wanted forum. Good luck.

I agree with Tiny. I have never seen fender skirts on any of the advance design pickups.

I am sure that a wizard sheet metal fabricator could make a pair. They would be extremely large pieces. I doubt if inside clearance would be a concern. The stock wheel and tire sits well inboard of the fender.

I am interested in how they look. They would definitely change the overall appearance of the truck.

Yep, those are pretty big! Obviously that truck’s suspension has been lowered so that gives a different perspective. .

Those are custom skirts. I have no clue where you could find a set. Might have to have them made.

It is interesting that Chev of the 40’s does list fender skirts that fit ‘36 to ‘46 pickups.

My dad had a 53 3100 in the late 50s and he had skirts on it. I'm sure he did not have them made up so someone was making and selling them at that time. Maybe JC Whitney ??
