I know it has been covered here but my searching was unsuccessful.

Does the horn conduit attach in someway to the horn or does it just end with the wires coming out of the conduit and attaching to the horn?

I believe some vendors sell a boot that covers the connection but not sure if that was as original.

Later years there was a rubber boot but 1931 the wires come out of the conduit about an inch. Just enough to allow them to attach to the terminals on the horn.

No boot on mine just conduit with 2 wires coming out.

I have never seen a boot or remains of one. I have NOS wiring harness(s) for late 30s trucks. They have the conduit but no boot. The Filling Station, Jim Carter, and Classy Chev USA, all sell the horn conduit. I make them and also conduits for tail lamp wires. The horn conduit is 14 inches long. Tail lamp conduits are 28 inches or 36 inches, depending on application. The Master Parts Catalog says most Chevys used these throughout the 30s.

You're right, I've never seen a Boot in the 30's.
