I'm trying to think of what could possibly be causing this, but when my coupe is in first gear and I'm letting off the clutch, it starts to vibrate and sputter the whole car a bit until I fully release the clutch. If I'm taking off from my driveway or just barely moving. It's only If I have the clutch pedal slightly pressed.

Is there an adjustment I need to make or what could be causing this?

Thank you in advance

Clutch chatter is a sign of the mating parts not being clean and smooth. Can be rust on the flywheel, oil or grease on clutch plate or ??

My suggestion is drive it an see if it gets better or worse.

I agree with Gene that motor mounts would be the first area I would check. This includes the front mounts, the side anti-torque mounts, and the transmission rear mount.

It is also possible that somewhere along the way someone was slipping the clutch a lot. That overheated and then warped the flywheel.

Thank you all for chiming in!

I will slowly make my.way around all the mounts and replace them.

Then I'll inspect the rest of the clutch stuff.

I'll let you guys know the end results
