Hey guys well the worst happened my driveshaft snapped on the road, I just removed everything and pulled the shaft out it snapped at the universal at the splines, I called around for replacement lol! So any help would be appreciated. I want to keep it original but open to changing the driveline over to open shaft albeit I would have to upgrade to hydraulic brakes but seems a nova rear and 3 speed trans works with some mods, any input to find this part or swaps that have been done thanks.

Hi Pooch,

Check with Gary Wallace (http://www.earlychevyparts.com/) or Rocky Mountain Relics (http://www.rockymountainrelics.net/).

They might have good used original parts that you need.

You really should specify what car. I am guessing 1935 Standard because I think I saw you post that somewhere else.

Someone on the AACA forums has a whole 1935 drivetrain he is trying to sell. He didn't specify which model either. Chevrolet Standard parts are mostly different and not interchangeable. I think he has Standard parts because I think I see a 5 lug wheel flange in the pictures, and the transmission looks all wrong for Master. The parts are in Wisconsin. I have no connection to them and have no idea if he is willing to separate parts. https://forums.aaca.org/topic/372413-1935-chevy-engine-transmission-rear-end/#comment-2312934
