Hello Fyermansteve,
I purchased a stone guard for my 31 Coach a long time ago. It also would need an emblem to finish out the installation, but that is yet to come. Might you consider the emblems offered on ebay and possibly custom mount it to your stone guard? I realize that I am not a concours type person with those kinds of resources, so it's just a suggestion.

I read on here a few years ago about attaching the emblem with 3 M double side tape. I think I am going that route. You may be able to search that post? It may have been on the 31 Chevrolet site.

If you have the mating mount with the hole in it on your screen you can reconfigure the mount from the FS.
The new Bow Tie emblem probably has a bolt stud on the back. Cut it off and file it flat leaving a rough surface.
Go to Ace Hdwe and get a chrome hole filler of the proper diameter and some JB Weld. Sand, rough up the face of
the hole filler and determin the placement on the back of the Bow Tie. The piece on your sceen should be the similar shape.
Bend the tabs on the back of the hole filler to get a tight fit.
If you are missing the mount that was soldered to the screen I can send you some pics of how to make that.
Works well and is very simalar to original.
Cheers
