Can anyone tell me where the lighting wire harness exits the firewall / floor on a 1931 special sedan? I am sure it is not through the brake pedal hole like it is now! I have found a drawing on the 1931 site showing what holes are for what in the firewall that will be helpful in the future as most of my stuff in passing though the wrong spots now! But it is not shown where the wiring passes through. In some photos also on the site there is an original unrestored 1932 floor shot showing the wires passing under a tunnel in a tin bracket behind the clutch pedal. On my car the speedo cable is there. If that is correct where does the speedo cable route? I have noticed the speedo cables are different lengths 31 to 32 so perhaps the routing is different.

The main wire harness passes through a short trough (or bulge) in the upper plate around the steering column. There are three clips that hold it in a arc from the trough and up and toward the center of the firewall. The holes are identified on the diagram.

Thanks Chipper, Sounds like my speedo cable is routed where the wire harness should be. So where does the speedo cable route?
This is the drawing I saw 31 Firewall holes

The speedometer cable fits through a notch in the upper center of the toe board. There is a hole in the center of the depression for the clip to hold the speedo cable. It then goes to a bracket on the frame and then back to the connection on the transmission.
