i need ideas , im thinking drill several holes counter sink them use flat head screws.than fill with allmetal.?? thanks dan

Dan, if you have the pillar covers off, you can see on the back where the nails came through on the factory assembley. That is how they should be attached but I don't know why your idea would not work. The counter sunk holes would have to be deep enought to allow you to fill the screw heads completely so they could not be seen. To get at the old nails you need to heat up the area around the head to melt the body lead covering the head of the nail and then tap out what is left of the old nail. CAUTION DO NOT GET IT TO HOT!!!! THE PILLAR COVER IS ALUMINUM AND WILL MELT!!! :( :(
