I've got a 1956 Belair with a 235 motor and am rebuilding top end. While cleaning hydraulic lifters have lost several ball check valve springs and do not want to replace entire lifter set as my vehicle has only 60,000 miles.
Anyone know where I can replace these tiny, tiny springs.
Thanks in advance.

Maybe buy a set of used lifters for the springs.

Thanks for the information bust NOS lifters are almost impossible to find.

I agree that you will have difficulty finding New Old Stock. That is why I suggested looking for a used set. Or maybe buy a junk engine for $100. You can sell it for scrap after you take the lifters.
